About

Prairie Fire Lacrosse Club was formed in 2023 after Oklahoma’s top two clubs, Red Dirt and 89ers, combined in order to provide an elite experience for girls’ lacrosse in Oklahoma and the surrounding region. With a focus on development, the club has developed dozens of successful collegiate student-athletes over its shared history and looks forward to continuing to do so in the future

We use a decision-based training model in order to create athletes that are ready to compete at the next level. We first focus on developing a baseline of skill before introducing variability in order to increase the difficulty for our players. The more variables we can introduce in training, the more decisions they’re encouraged to make and the more prepared they are to face the challenges and demands of the college game.

Our club boasts over 30 years of combined coaching experience and placed over 20 players on college rosters, allowing us to provide the best insight on developing players and guiding them through the college recruiting process. Additionally, our coaches have represented at all levels of playing, including the USA Box Lacrosse national team, Korean National Team, and NCAA D1, D2, and D3.

Prairie Fire offers opportunities in Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
