Our Programs

National Team

The top 20 players at tryouts will be named to the Prairie Fire National Team. These players will face the most challenging competition available. To be eligible for the National Team, players must be at least rising freshmen. These players will be seen by over 300 college coaches over the course of the summer.

Tournaments

IWLCA Midwest Cup – St. Louis, MO – June 8-9

Summer Genesis – Hershey, PA – June 15-16

NXT Grand Prix – Westfield, IN – July 20-21

Regional Teams

Players who do not make the National Team will play on regional teams. These teams will play more local competition as they develop into future National Team players. These players will be seen by over 100 college coaches over the course of the summer.

Tournaments

Texas Draw – Dallas, TX – June 1-2

Music City Lacrosse Festival – Nashville, TN – June 22-23

St. Louis Summer Slam – St. Louis, MO – July 13-14

Practices

Practices will be held in OKC and Tulsa. All athletes are open to choose which location they attend for practice.

Regional and U14 teams will have practice twice per week, and the National team will practice three times per week. There will be no practices July 1-7.

Practice dates and times will be set by each site director to best meet the availability of the coaching staff and local players. Practices will begin the week of May 19.

All sites will use the same practice plans in order to seamlessly combine players during tournaments.

Cost

$1,100

Cost includes tournament registration, coaching fees, uniforms and access to IWLCARecruits. There will be fundraising opportunities to help offset the costs.

Tryouts

Tryouts will be on Saturday, Feb. 24 in Republic, MO immediately after Republic’s league games, and Sunday, Feb. 25 at 3 PM at Jenks Middle School. You can register here.
